This year was basically the same as any high school year; we studied, had fun, experienced sad moments of trial and error. There were games and dances; voices were hoarse from Pep Club rooting. All shared the hopeless reality of exams, the semes- ter grades, and the noontime cafeteria rush. It is not today that you will appreciate the EAGLE. Tomorrow, when it is not so easy to think back on 1964, we will treasure the memories this book has stored for us. I would like to thank Mrs. Lawrence, our sponsor, and the annual staff who worked so hard to produce this EAGLE. Editor, Sponsored by LEON CROOKS, Parsons This 1964 EAGLE is a simple pictorial record of the events at McCune High during the 1963-64 school year. Each page will mean something different to each of you. The format has not been as important to us as has been our desire to please you. We hope you like the EAGLE and will like it even more in future years. Assistant Editor,
