l 'mzmvnwvsw' A ' , uture Business Leaders of America found an enterprising way to send a little something to that someone special on Valentine's Day. FBLA sold carnations to students, friends, teachers, girlfriends, boyfriends, or just that some- one special. President Kathleene Goodwin said the project paid off. So far this fund raiser has been a huge success. We hoped to sell 1000 carna- tions this year, and with the help of club participants and the support from the stu- dent body it was a great achievement. The club cracked down on membership requirements by decreasing its size from more than 100 members to 40. Applicants were required to take a business class, and have a business teacher's recom- mendation. With these new regulations, the club progressed, according to Paula Ftimoldi. I feel that FBLA improved from the past due to more responsibility taken by the officers, and the enthusiasm and re- sponse of the members, Rimoldi said. t he - Mike Daniel concentrates on the guest speaker's lecture. ,W TOP: Sponsor M.
