An assortment of individuals who made up ICT, part of the nationally sponsored Vocational ln- dustrial Clubs of America. Representative of the club, Doug Gibbs, said, the VICA program is really worth it. The leadership skills students practiced in school came in handy in the working world, A little bit of pain never hurt anybody, said President Matthew Curtis in reference to the requirement to work hard to earn grades as well as paychecks. Each year, national VICA week was cel- ebrated to highlight the club's activities. During this week, students from across the nation competed in various catego- ries, Sponsor Charles Ervin helped the stu- dents and reminded them of the club's theme: VICA, America's New Profession- als - Pride In What We Do.
