P E .mv Q hile many students dread writing stories and essays, the members of Pegasus put their talents to produce a literary magazine. During the first semester, writers pro- duce mysteries, children's stories and po- etry. The creative projects were sent to national magazines to be published. Stu- dents created children's stories to read to young children at local elementary schools. Through the projects the staff Editor Elizabeth Davidson proofreads a poem submitted to Pegasus. ea ga, ?,,,,,Z- ww' -wwmi , learned how to compose good prose and poetry. ln the second semester they had a better understanding of the writing pro- cess which they used to edit the entries for the literary magazine. Pegasus gave ambitious students a chance to create and produce their own work. Pegasus has given me a chance to belong to a club where I can develop close working relationships with other stu- dents, said Cynthia Reagan. 3 will 7, N right A Trauth A. Miller K, Per ry, A.
