Fl:--wr i i,, .. stride for it rack is more than just running around the track, it involves coordination, dexterity and speed. The girls practice every day after school. The practices are filled with en- durance testing workouts concentrating on technique, style, and skill. The meets are throughout February, March, April, and May. The goals were to win district, state, and whatever titles were within their reach. In her first year of coaching at Mc- Cullough, Coach Williams said, l want to teach my girls as much as l can about the sport of track and field and to build a championship tradition in the girls track and cross country programs.
