We have high goals and high expec- tations but we have to work hard to ac- complish them, commented Coach lhrig. Their goals consisted of winning dis- trict, moving on to regionals, and going all the way to state. Chris Brauner said After years of falling short, we know we have the talent and leadership that should push us over the top. The team took one step at a time and tried to get better by dedicating their time to practices after school and playing rounds of golf on the weekends. Finishing the fall matches with four wins and two losses, the golfers were headed towards a successful district record in the spring. Todd Hogan said This year the team came together as one unit which is an essential part of a successful year. The players put the team ahead of the in dividual and worked together. The most valuable players were Chris Brauner, Morgan Brown, Jeff Gulczynski Todd Hogan, and Jack lngram.
