Coach Sharon McCIanahan emphasized conditioning, skill development, and new defensive and offensive strategies. l not only learned to develop team play, pa- tience, and sportsmanship, but most im- portantly self confidence in myself, said Tiffanie Hicks. The team was led by Caryn Case, who had an outstanding season according to McClanahan. She, along with Heather MacTavish, as captains of the team, pro- vided the leadership and motivation, which pushed the team toward a suc- cessful season. Asa result of Case's ex- cellent play, she was selected for first team all district. Heather MacTavish and Melissa McClain were chosen for second team all district.
