We, the class of 1988, would like to dedicate our 88 edition of the Sparta to Mr. Paul W. Christophel. As our advisor he has taken an active part in our fund raisers and the plannings of our few class trips. When it came time for the Prom, he was dressed in his overalls ready to help us fight the battle against time. His ingenious plans and carpentry skills helped to make our Prom a huge success. As a teacher in 8th grade, he intimidated us, but as we grew older and more mature he became a friend with whom we could talk to. Now that we are Seniors, we look back over the years and see how influential he has been to us. He has not only been a teacher but a friend and confidant, and for these reasons we dedicate our yearbook to you, Mr. Christophel.
