Dedication We the Class of 1974 wish to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. and Mrs. James Blevins. Where can we possibly begin to tell the story of how these two people have added so much to the lives of the students of MHS? Mrs. Blevins teaches ninth grade General Science, tenth grade biology, and Advanced Biology. She instructs each of these classes with such skill and knowledge. She teaches in such a way as to give pleasure and knowledge to the students without their losing interest. Besides teaching, Mrs. Blevins is a past cheerleading advisor for the Varsity and Junior Varsity squads. She also formed the Junior High Cheerleading group composed of seventh, eighth, and ninth graders. Mr. Blevins instructs in vocational education. He is a friend and wonderful teacher to his students. He passes his knowledge on to them and enables them to learn all they can in the field that their interests lie. Mr. Blevins is also an advisor for the Future Farmers of America. He has a great interest in the club and in its members. He helps see that each member is able to perform to the best of his ability. The Class of 1974 joins with former graduates and undergraduates in saying thank-you and best wishes to our teachers and friends — Mr. and Mrs. James Blevins. 5
