Mr. Creager After weeks of preparation and planning by a committee of the Junior class, 150 members of the Junior and Senior classes, administrators, faculty members, and their wives joined in a general convocation in the all-purpose room of the McConnellsburg School on April 28, 1967. The tables were decorated with palms constructed from crepe and bent candles. A ham dinner as well as enlightening remarks by honored members of all groups were enjoyed. After Martin Shimer thanked the juniors, speeches— of both humorous and serious natures-were made by Mr. Shearer, Mr. Creager, and Mr. Welsh. Mr. Shearer

VISITING STUDENTS While Louise is here for a year, she is staying with her aunt, Mrs. Audrey Greathead. She came to learn what life and school is like in America. She enjoys school here, but has found that it is not as strict as it is in England. In the beginning of June, Louise will return to her home in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England. The Woodcock family is in this area for one year. They serve as Methodist missionaries to the Congo. The three children in higli school are Elaine, a junior, Nancy in eighth grade, and Ar- nold in seventh grade. In August when their furlough is over, they will return to Africa. When asked their opinion of the school and community, Elaine said that she would rather be riding her bike through the bush. Nancy likes school, especially cheerleading. Arnold thinks he can learn more by farming than by going to school. Elaine, Arnold, and Nancy Woodcock Louise Glasse
