STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council has for years been the supporting body behind many school activities. In the fall, the Council creates the beautiful pageantry of the Homecoming. This year the Student Council added a special attraction--recognizing the oldest graduate present from both the McComb and the Jackson buildings. The one from the McComb building was Mr. Merritt Haddox who graduated in 1913 3 and the one from the Jackson build- ing was Mrs. Alice Van Dorn Moor, who graduated in 1929. Their pictures were taken to appear in this year's yearbook. The Student Council has presented many assembly programs in both buildings. These shows are financed by magazine sales. Then in December, the most glorious high school dance is sponsored by the Council. The Christmas Dance is the social highlight of the year for the entire student body.
