SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Our story starts as two up and coming rock and roll stars Larry Cool Cat Mapes and Jerry Jerky Foot Foltz decide to go out west for a vacation. Go- ing with them is the rest of their bandj Ronald Fidgety Fingers Hale and Dan The Drummer Man Dietrich. They decide to take a fleet of cabs known as the Klingler Klankey Kllmkers owned and operated by Larry Kling- ler. Anne Andonian and Lynne Miller are drivers for the cross-country trip. Going through the colorful western country, they come to a small town called Richardsville, run by the very successful gambler, Wilbur Roulette Richards. While in Richardsville, they stop for gas at Gallant's Gas Garage, operated by Darrell Gallant, and decide to spend the night at Hermon's Home for Hungry Hermits. Here they meet the caretaker Bud Sherick, who tells them about Inbody's Peaceful Panther Dude Ranch. It seems the ranch's en- tertainers have decided to leave and Larry needs someone to fill in for awhile while. The boys talk it over and decide they'll try anything once. Since they aren't due at the ranch until the following morning the group decides to go over to the resturant for supper. They walk in and see the famous Shafer Sisters dance duo, Velva and Phyllis at the first table. The grils have just starred in the Broadway hit Dancing in the Waste Can. After dinner they see a familiar girl walk in. It is none other than their old class- m at e ,Paula Foltz, who is now manager of the west's newest business, Kersh's Kozey Koffins Inc. While they are eating, the floor show starts and out come the Daring Darling Sisters, Janice Altman and Florence Sterling who sing the latest hit, Go to the Moon Soon. Going back to the hotel they all get a good night's sleep. The next morning, bright and early, they arrive at the Peaceful Panther Dude Ranch where they are met by the rough-1idin', fast-shootin' foreman, Mark Deerwester and his glamorous sidekick Shirley Like. Mark shows them to the main ranch house where they are introduced to the guests. Among them are famous Conover models, Beverly Shoop and Sara Myers, and the An- gelic Acrobats, Dennis The Menace Peters and Larry Lightning Legs Or- wick. Also visiting is the T.V. comedienne Janice Laughing Gir1 Schwartz. Going into the kitchen they meet the head cook and bottle washer Robert Phillips and his number one assistant Shirley Mean Mop Miller. Since they a.ten't due to sing until evening, Co01 Cat and Jerky Foot try their luck on horseback. Going through a small turmel they find them- selves in a box canyon. All of a sudden they hear a terrifying laugh. They rocket back to the ranch and ask the foreman what the sound was. He told them it was the Hermit Rancher, Bob Confirmed Bachelor Self. It seems his girl had jilted him so he became a hermit. Our story ends as we hear the soft twang of a guitar and our two heroes break break into song. COMPLIMENTS OF EVANS TYPEWRITER COIVIPANY 19
