We were glad to have Junior Miller, Wanda Osburn from Liberty, Gerry Hines from Hoytville, and also Charles Harden who moved back from Bowling Green. SOPI-IO ORE CLASS Well, here we are back in school againbut as Sophomores this year. Time sure does fly! We started out with 36 students and e- lected the following as officers: President: Roger Orwick, Vice President: Jack Myers, Secretary: Anita Kurtz., Treasurer:Ruth Leader, Reporter: Rosie Wasson, Historian: Mary Haughn. Our advisor is Mr. Schmunk. We were sorry to lose Arden Rader, who went to the Navy but glad to gain Jerry Smith from Ottawa and also to have Frank Sterling back. We are very proud of our Sophomore football players and es- pecially John and Jay Rea and Fred Altstaetter who received letters . As activities we plan to have a Christmas party, a swimming party in January and a party in the spring. We are going to have bake sales and sell name stamps to make money.
