Our :sophomore elass started its high sehool eareer as freshmen with a big initiation in the form ot' a Burn , The teaehers gave us a bit of fun afterwards with their skits and a hilarious mono- logue by Mr. Joseph which was eertainly well reeeived. To lead our elass through its first year we ehose Shirley Rider, presidentg Kiehard Rader, viee presidentg Virginia Norway, secretary, Maxine Houk, treasurerg Mr. King, our advisor. The Navy took one of our class nieinbers, Charles Miller. Mr. Braden was eleeted to be our advisor in this, our seeond year. Riehard Rader, president: Eddie Posner, viee presidentg .lohn Dishong, secretary-treasurer, and Leanna Mereer, reporter, are the offieials this year. Haek again with us is Parlee Bovee after being' in Findlay for a year. lileanore Sparrowe started this year with us dlld in February, LeRoy Lovell from Mt. Cory joined our elass. Leanna Mereer left during' the first semester to live near Rudolph, and we lost Charles Fisher and Vtalter liatta. Activities this year have been liniited to a very successful Hghostll party given by Cleola ln- hody at her house on Hallowe'en. In November we seleeted and ordered our class rings. lVe deeided upon our motto- Strive not to equal but to exeellng for the elass flower we seleeted the earnation and the eolors, red and white, will represent us.
