Tadpoles to frogs and catapillars to butterflies-this is what the Biology club is all about. Students with an interest in Biology join the Biology Club and have a terrific time. Mr. Harold Querner is the sponsor of the Club which consists of some twenty-five McCollum students. During the year the club held various meetings and even made a field trip to Landa Park. li Kim Knappick demonstrates how a frog catches a fly.

Norma Cano-jr. Diane Closna-Soph.-Head Yvonne SiFuentes-Soph. Letty Delgado-Soph, 82'-83' cheerleaders. Cindy Tkadlec-Fresh, Shelly Sanchez-Fresh. The j.V. Cheerleaders are responsi- ble for promoting j.V. sports and ac- tivities such as football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and soccer games. As you can tell they have a rough schedule. Their job takes hard work and dedication to make a winn- ing squad. The McCollum Dance Team was very active this year. They participated in many events such as performing at football games during half time, and dancing in Friday morning pep-rallies. They have competed in various competitions such as the Cultural Arts Show at Harlandale High School where they received a second place trophy. The Dance Team officers also went to camp in Houston this year, where they received a pom, and a sweepstakes trophy.
