The Coordinated Vocational Academic Educa- tion Program held on Employer Appreciation Dinner at the Texas Tumbleweed. Over 400 people attended and watched Grace Krall win the Employer of the Year award. Anna Her- nandez was named most dedicated employee of the year. Anna Hernandez, also won first place in prepared speech held at Medina Valley High School. She qualified for state competition, where she placed 5th. Edward Martinez won se- cond place in extemporary speech. CVAE ll is designed to give students, who are a year behind an opportunity to catch up. Mr. Gonzalez, enjoyed his first year as sponsor. He looks forward to helping his students in the many years ahead. A, Rene Reyes, proud to be awarded most dedicated employee ofthe year. B.
