Commercial Dept.: Business ls Our Business Preparation for a business career is the purpose of the commercial classes. Techniques of proper office procedure are taught in classes of typing, bookkeeping, record keeping, clerical office practice, shorthand, and general business. Techniques are exercised on authentic office ma- chines. Ditto machines, dictaphones, typewriters, etc., are daily utensils in the life of a business executive. The same is true with Business students, machines are vital to their Work. Upon graduation, students who have taken business courses are prepared to begin a career in the business world.
