Cowboys Crown Sweethearts Seniors Lynda Allen and Flora Gonzalez were presented as 1968 Football Sweethearts at the Mc- Collum-Roosevelt game. Other girls nominated for this honor included Vicki Lewis, Valerie Weynand, and Claudia William- son. These girls are nominated and voted on by the Cowboy football squad. Cowboy Adorns Inchcm Game Cowboys anticipate victory over the Sam Houston football team with a mock funer- al of a Cherokee Indian. Ctop leftj McCol- lum's football team begins the game with encouragement of the 20 foot Cowboy mascot. The student council made the 20 foot mascot for the McCollum-Harlandale game. Ctop rightj B-team cheerleaders are responsible for attending the Junior Varsity events. The girls substitute for the varsity cheerleaders when necessary and assist at pep rallies. Cbottomj
