Print Shop Teaches President Sponsor Vice President James Runnels Mr. E. J. Bradbury Nathan Polk Purpose of the print shop is to promote higher standards in trade practices, workmanship, and safety. The club helps to inform the general public of the work being done by the members ofthe club as vocational students. Shop members print programs and tickets for various school clubs in the Harlandale District. Boys also print school and administration business forms. This experience develops in the students ability to plan and to organize worthy activities. During the year the club participates in district and state meets as delegates and contestants. Manuel Aldez and Wayne Garner are running the small offset press.

Student Council Qfficers Student Council Officers of the year 1969 are, L-R Ktop to bottomj John Kelly, historiang Bobby Thomac, treasurerg Dee Anne McDonald, historiang Martha Ashley, vice-president: Valerie Weynand, secretaryg Tommie Mathews, reporter, Teresa Gonzales, president, Lynda Allen, parliamentariang Gloria Hernandez, chaplain. Purposes of the McCollum High School Student Council are to improve student morale and student-faculty relationship. The Council is the student's opportunity to voice his opinion concerning activities of his school. The organization consists of representatives elected from each class. All members must maintain a C+ average or better. This year the Council was represen- C S Sponsor o- ponsor ML B10 dgett ted by delegates at the Alamo Miss Searcy Association of Student Council's Con- vention and Texas Association of Student Councilis Convention held in Amarillo. Sponsored by Mr. Jim Blodgett, the club is active throughout the year. Their projects include organizing and present- ing assemblies, publishing and selling student directories, and being a partici- pant in TAP. The Council also participated in the rodeo parade and added to the school spirit.
