This drawing is one of the many projects of the drafting members. The design shows the position of a capscrew in a belt drive assembly. The assembly portion of a set of drawings which include pulley, bracket, shaft and gear are being pointed out by the student. 1

Officers Lead Drafting Club The Drafting Club is a member of the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America. Members are trained to become proficient in the graphic language of drafting fdescribing the shape and size of object with notes, outlines, and dimensionsj. Meetings are held twice monthly and mem- bers are furnished with monthly publications. The purpose of the club is to unite, in a common bond, all stu- dents enrolled in vocational educa- tion and to develop leadership abilities through participation in educational, vocational, civic, direc- tional, and social activities. - Mr. M. Coordinator President Distributive Education is a two year course for juniors and seniors interested in the fields of retailing, wholesaling, and in service selling, Students attend school in the morning earning two regular course credits and one credit in the classroom phase of D.E. The club accepts students on their training objective, aptitude, interest, need, physical and mental competence. McCollum's chapter of D.E. serves as an organization to develop leadership and promote social activities.
