The chal- lenge of recording an exciting year of Cowboy life is completed and is replaced by a certain emptiness. The HANDS OF lVlcCOLLUlVl, guidance, knowledge, leadership, entertain- ment, competition, and support have helped to capture the fond memories we will long cherish. The history of McCollum 1967-1968 is not completed without recording our personal experience at Cowboyland. Registration, happi- ness, new classes, WRANGLER i'Signing Partyw, football games, ar- guments with friends, tears, pep ral- lies, CHANTER issues, laughter, Cowboy Christmas, dreams, new in- fatuations, proms, advisory, sur- prises, ambitions, honors, sadness, finals, graduation, goodbyes, and the school song are just a few of the vital memories that made our short life at lVlcCollum a world in itself. The WRANGLER of 1967-1968 developed through ideas, imagina- tion, and hard work of the entire yearbook staff, but the product is not our book, it belongs to Cowboy- land. We, the student body, are the part of McCollum who made the memories possible, we will remember our life as a Cowboy whenever we turn the pages of the 1967-1968 WRANGLER. pam k 5 'Mu'
