72414. 764654 Uzpdcmage Aside from their many charitable projects around the school such as sewing on detached buttons, repairing ripped shirts and remaking tattered trousers, the FHA girls found time to hold a party for orphaned children at the San Antonio Children7s Shelter. Future Homemakers and children alike en- joyed an afternoon of games which included c'Lon- don Bridgef UFarmer in the Dellf, and Ring around the Rosiesf Some of the more devoted girls offered the willing children their backs for free piggy back rides. McCollum students, like all teenagers, like to eat. To accommodate this pleasurable necessity many organizations and special interest groups Qacademic and athleticj present awards and honors to their members at banquets held throughout the year. Even though the calibur of the food varies somewhat, from tamales to filet mignon, everyone seems to have an enjoyable time. 304
