Vocational Health Occupations is a plan under which students work in jobs concerning health occupations for one-half day and attend school one-half day. Students are supervised by both school and employer during their employment time. The employer provides practical Work experience in all basic aspects of the occupationg the school provides technical work experience information directly related to the studentis work experience, as well as other courses needed to complete high school. This training enables the student to prepare himself for full-time employment while fulfilling the necessary requirements for graduation. Stu- dents receive two regular course cred- its for classes which they attend during the morning, and three credits for the classroom phase of D.E. In the afternoon, D.E. students work at their jobs. Sherry Jordan was the D.E.C.A. sweet- heart representative at the McCollum FHA Sweetheart Prom. Donnie Bishop received first place in the job interview division at the Area Confer- ence held at Edison High SchooL 205 'TQ'
