Sophomore girls wanting to join Tri Cis must be interested in drill work and other activities sponsored by the club. These girls must be dependable, enthusiastic and reputable morally. Candidates must have passed all subjects the semester prior to election with a C plus average or better. New members are selected in May with the understanding that they must support the Tri C's and help develop and keep school spirit. New members are required to participate in an informal initiation before becoming a full member. Upon completion of the weekis program, sophomore girls are formally initiated at a night service in the presence of parents, friends and fellow club members. During the spring, new members are allowed to try-out for various offices in the club. Junior Captain, Junior Cheerleader, certain club offices and dance team membership are open to Sophomore girls. Candidates for these offices must have a B- average for the semester prior to selection.
