The Bells Cf The Future Toledo, Ohio Dem Elmer' June 22, 1960 I received your letter asking about the wedding of two of our classmates, Albert Bell and Anna Lou Smith. It was a very big wedding, all of our classmates were present and were sorry you could not be with us but we were glad to hear that you are doing so well as chief mechanic of Pan American Airways in Honolulu. Perhaps you would like to know what the rest of our classmates are doing. You have probably read about Tom Good, the American League Baseball Player, who goes sight seeing in his Helicopter. His old buddy, Bob Behnfeldt, has also made himself fa- mous as roller skating champion of the world. I was over to Maurice Ballmers' the other evening and had a nice visit with him and his wife, the former Lavonda Reimund. They have three small children and are living near McClure on his father's farm. Have you heard about the new dance team touring the country? They are Virginia John- son and Richard Yarnell. I guess they're quite a hit! I was over to the Toledo Hospital to see Jane Alspaugh, who is recuperating after a long stay in Japan as a missionary. Who do you think I saw, Mildred Shank, the head nurse. She is doing a very nice job. As I was leaving, I ran into Donna Shaffer. She is now employed as a private secretary to the President of the United States. She says that she likes her work in Washington, D. C. Have you heard from your friend Carl Boyd lately? Well he has lust returned from the Navy and is going with Mary Ellen Myers, a teacher in McClure High School. Lavonda Overy and Alice Newlove are housewives, and are living in neighboring towns, Neapolis and Rudolph. Since they have long range television, nowdays, you should get to see Ted Kryder, one of the Worlds' Funniest Comics. He has his own show on television. Bud Zimmerman turned out to be one of the Big Shots in the class. He is President of the First National Bank in Findlay. He has as his private secretaries, Marilyn Jennings and Georg- ean Titus. Our old friend Bob Kistner is doing very well in the secret service of the F. B. I. Virginia Booth, one of the quiet members of our class, is working as a clerk in the new department store in Westhope. After having graduated from Ohio State, Bob Wenig is now head football coach at his Alma Mater. Marilyn Neiderhiser has just returned from Europe where she was an exchange teacher the last few years. Well I guess that is about everything and everybody, as you know my iob as sports com- mentator over W.S.P.D. keeps me plenty busy. I hope you can get back to the states soon. Your classmate, George J. Kryder
