We ieel a little more like one of the gang now, and are striving toward being a class, successful in everything we undertake. We opened the school year by initiating the Freshmen on October 4th. They repaid our kindness with a return party on October 30th.

Surely now, We look back with pride, and say that all our tasks served only to strengthen us for greater deeds, and greater capacity for enjoying our- selves at the same time. This year we have added to our treasury by serving refreshments at Basketball games, . ........ Our class play, Bolts and Nuts , was a great triumph, and helped us to learn .to co-operate with each other. Mr. Rotsel We were properly initiated into the role of Freshmen, early in the fall of '46. We stepped into that role eagerly, and have filled it Well. Since we are a large class, We have a better chance of excelling in all activities. Many of our boys have begun their basketball training, and will be deciding factors in future teams. We are looking forward with eagerness to the return of a music program at M.H.S. S
