We ieel a little more like one of the gang now, and are striving toward being a class, successful in everything we undertake. We opened the school year by initiating the Freshmen on October 4th. They repaid our kindness with a return party on October 30th.

We we didn't realize just what that goal was to be, the can We find ourselves nearing the goal first set, in the fall of 1936. Perhaps then, or the obstacles we would meet along Way to accomplishment. Surely now, We look back with pride, and say that all our tasks served only to strengthen us for greater deeds, and greater capacity for enjoying our- selves at the same time. This year we have added to our treasury by serving refreshments at Basketball games, . ........ Our class play, Bolts and Nuts , was a great triumph, and helped us to learn .to co-operate with each other. We wish to thank Mr. Brown for his splen- did co-operation in sponsoring our class the first semester. Miss Hatcher sponsored our class the second semester.

Since we are a large class, We have a better chance of excelling in all activities. Many of our boys have begun their basketball training, and will be deciding factors in future teams.
