Row 1: Glen Good, Ruth Dull, Betty Rowland, Florence Reinbolt, Golda Naveau, Margaret Miller, Susan Fowler, Robert Bliss. SOPHOMORE CLASS The Sophomore class of 1943-44, started with 17 members. The of- ficers for the year were elected in October as follows: President, Keith Miller: Vice-President, Buddy Connolly: Secretary-Treasurer, Galen Hines. Bernita Ward moved away soon after school began. In Octoberfthe Sophomores gave the Freshmen an initiation party. Later' a return party was given to the Sophomores. The members of this class are well represented in Basketball, Baseball, F. F.A., Home Economics, Glee Club, and Band.

Row 1: Vivien Crom, Edna Mae Kinder, Irma Carrol, Mildred Sunderman, Fern Richard, Dorothy Cooper, Evelyn Clark. JUNIOR CLASS ln September, 1943, a group of 15 students started their Junior year at McClure High School. During the year Lola Smith left our class. We welcomed Dorothy Copper in with us. We elected the following officers: President, Vivien Crom: Vice-Presi- dent, Fern Richard: Secretary, Francis Diblingg and Treasurer, Murrel Allen. The Seniors gave us the annual game supper in November and we were entertained by a show in Bowling Green. ln return for this we will give them the annual Junior-Senior Banquet in May. We gave our Junior Class play, Miss Jimmie March 24. We received many compliments about it. I

IT'S A LONG, LONG TRAIL NINTH GRADE Row 3: lla Jean Arnold, Marcine Sunderman, Maurice Wells, Ralph Shaneyfelt, William Browning, Allen Jennings, Richard Shepard, James Carrol, Ralph Hines, Waneta Mason, Annabelle Geitgey, Miss Hibler. Row 2: Shirley Good, June Browning, Dorothy Kinder, Shirley Wagner, Jean Kramer, Thelma Newlove, Donna Boyer, Hope Smith, Violet Light, Dorothy Busch. Row 1: James Beavers, Gilbert Dull, Robert Fenstermaker. FRESHMEN Twenty-eight pupils began their high school life September 3, as Fresh- men. During the year Nlelva Counselman entered the class making 29 members. The class was entertained at an initiation party given by the Sopho- mores on October 1. The Freshmen returned this with a party in honor of Sadie Hawkins Day, on November 16. They are well represented in the band, glee club, mixed chorus, F.F.A., Home Economics, baseball, and basketball.
