Snider, Vice-Presidenl: Mrs. J. V. Chamberlin, Secrerary, and Mrs. Clem Brown, Treasurer, ihe P. T. A. was able and willing fo confribufe lioriy dollars foward fhe purchasing of rhe new band uniforms, besides fhe oiher business ihai was carried on during ihe year. The P. T. A. members were enleriained during 'rhe year by several sludeni body groups from rhe Music and Dramalic Deparlmenrs. These srudenrs demonslrared whai co-operaiion will do for The young mind and soul and ihe need for closer co-operarion berween The parenls and rhe ieachers. Band Mothers This year ihe Band Molhers organizaiion has been very busy planning ways lo malce money io buy uniforms for ihe boys and girls in our school band. They decided io gel' iusl' The coal and caps which will be navy blue wiih red lrimming. The uniforms were received in April. The mofhers in+end lo gel The +rousers in iuiure rime. The school board donared iiiiy dollars, The P. T. A. donared forry dollars, and several members of ihe communily donaied money. The Band Mofhers appreciaied rhis help greaily. The elevaror dinner was served io rhe school children by 'rhe Band Moihers. They also served boih dinners af rhe Farmers' lnsiiiufe. The officers lor This year are: Mrs. Clifford l-lines, Presidenlq Mrs. Door Wailcins, Vice-Presideni: and Mrs. Guy ShaFler, Secrerary-Treasurer. The Band Moihers have been organized for rhree years.

On Ocfober 3, fhey were iniiialed and rhey in 'rurn gave a refurn parfy. Two olher parties followed during Ihe Year. They received a new scholar from Grand Rapids, Leona Junge, which make Them fwenfy-one ro s'rar+ 'rhe Sophomore year. They are well engaged in such school aclivifies as Music, F. F.
