We wanT To Thank Mr. Roach for The Time he has given for acTiviTies afTer school hours and The help he has given during The year. Since l938, we have had a school caTeTeria, where The school children have boughT filling lunches aT a minimum cosT, prepared by Grace LayTon and her assisTanT, Rufh Adams. These ladies have been more Than iusT cooks for The school: They have become friends of each and all The pupils. We soon organized and elecied our class oliiicersz President Willis Shaneylelt Vice-President Marvin Glanz: Secrefary, Doris Jean Brannon: Treasurer. Glen Wullil. Then came ihe pleasure of iniliafing fhe new Freshmen in which we gained our revenge. ln reiurn The Freshmen invifed us 'ro a coas+ing parly. We losl some members 'rhal year and ended wifh lwenfy-six. ln I94O, 'rwenly-nine members eniered school as Juniors. We elecied the following officers: President Deloris Zimmerman: Vice-President Marvin Glanz: Secrelary. Doris Jean Brannon: Treas- urer, Beify Conn. We had +wo parfies in The fall, one ai Norma Kane's home and fhe ofher af Richard Bossa's home. The Seniors gave us our annual game supper. We fool: ihe hinf and planned a banquel' which was held on May 4. During fhis year Richard Baller decided 'fo ioin lhe Navy and Eileen Myers moved fo Liberiy Cenler, so we ended fha year wifh fwenfy-seven members. Also during ihis big Junior year we presenfed our class play One Mad Night Finally if camel We are Seniors, lwenfy-five of us. We organized and elecfed 'lhe following officers: President Richard Bossa: Vice-President Richard Farisong Secreiary-Treasurer. Glen Wulff. We worked hard 'lo malce a success of our high school life.
