Mr. Knight a naTive of Wood CounTy, received his Bachelor oT Science Degree aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy and his MasTer oi ArTs Degree aT The Ohio STaTe UniversiTy. Through his humaniTarian eTTorTs and his abiliTy To undersTand each person, his influence will be lasTing To all of us who came in conTacT wiTh him. During his Two years aT McClure, Mr. SmiTh has won a prominenT place in The hearTs of The sTudenTs as a resulT of his coaching abiliTy and friendly. Trank ways. He maiored in PoliTical Science and Physical EducaTion aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy. Miss Waugh has earned her place in our school by co-operaTing and giving her loyal help To anyone asking iT. She received her college educaTion aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy, where she maiored in Business EducaTion. Miss HaTcher has been wiTh us Tor many years and has proven herseli very helpTul in coaching our plays and helping in many ways. She Teaches Home Economics, English, and LaTin. AT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy she received her AB degree. WiTh The help oT Mr. Nelson, our Junior High physical educaTion coach. our smallesT boys have won a place Tor Themselves in The counTy. Besides his coaching duTies he Teaches science. He holds a B. S. in EducaTion aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy. Mr. Salvo has been wiTh us, Tor Three years and has broughT To us, many Times, beauTiTul music. when we leasT expecTed iT. AT Ohio NorThern UniversiTy he received a B. S. in EducaTion and Teaches English and Music, boTh choral and band. Mr. Snider has helped our boys To see The need of beTTer and improved Tarming methods, and wi+h his help The boys have carried oTT some high honors aT The various conTesTs. He was a sTudenT of Ohio STaTe Universify, where he sTudied VocaTional AgriculTure. Miss BeTTy Sockman, in The FourTh, FiTTh, and SixTh grades Teaches The English subiecTs. Her pafience and suggesTions are appreciaTed very much by her sTudenTs. She received her Training aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy. . Miss Margaref Welsh, our FourTh, FiTTh, and SixTh grade Teacher of social sTudies, AriThmeTic and girls' high school physical educaTion coach, has given much help and encouragemenf and in- spiraTion To our sTudenTs. She received her Training aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy. Miss Eunice Ewing adds kindness and undersTanding in her Teaching oT The Second and Third Graders. She was educaTed aT Bowling Green STaTe UniversiTy. Miss Helen Rood has been helping our beginners Tor The pasT Two years. Her paTience and help To our FirsT Graders is inspiring. Since l938, we have had a school caTeTeria, where The school children have boughT filling lunches aT a minimum cosT, prepared by Grace LayTon and her assisTanT, Rufh Adams. These ladies have been more Than iusT cooks for The school: They have become friends of each and all The pupils.
