Senior Class Prophecy i It is the year l970 and We Hnd ourselves in the lobby of the great Monte gomery Hotel in Mimai, Florida. It is the year of the great Miami Wor1d's Fair and Mrs. Montgomery, the former Delores Wilcox, and her husband are look- ing forward to a great crowd of guests. On the opening date of the fair a very distinguished person registers as Miss Maxine Ballmer, Henry County Superintendent of Schools. She asks the where- abouts of Mrs. Delores Montgomery and explains they were once schoolmates. She also explains that other old classmates are planning on stopping at this hotel to attend the Exposition. At this very moment a certain prominent couple in the field of science enter the elaborate hotel. They are Mr. John Wenzel and his wife, the former Maxine Miller. They are the owners of the world famous Wenzel Laboratories. While these people are renewing their old acquaintances they are astonished by the appearance of a well dressed gentleman and his secretary. Mr. Robert Miller, the president of the largest bank in the United States, tips his high silk hat and smiles, while his faithful secretary, Miss Edna Duquette, gasps with surprise as she notices the others. Everyone is happy and the clerk at the desk nods pleasantly as a beautiful young lady from Hollywood comes forward. She is none other than the actress Rita Rave. Directly following her and trying in many ways to attract her at- tention is the nationally known radio announcer, Marvin Peery. Mrs. Montgomery greets her guests and immediately begins to plan for a banquet in the evening. She sincerely wishes that all of the class of '39 could be there. Later that afternoon she is talking to dear old Maxie and explains that more people have arrived, and that they are all married. She coi1ldn't remember their names, but they were in the lobby discussing their family problems. Ruth Jennings. Norma Klein and Berneita Williams are all living .around McClure. Jackaline, however, married a man from somewhere around Lima, Ohio, and settled there. Mrs. Montgomery also said Rita Raye, the actress, was really Louise Ruder. And, oh yes, Mrs. Woodward who just arrived from Columbus, Ohio. is our old red head, Zelma Jennings. At seven o'clock that evening a large banquet is spread. Seated around the table are all of our members save Robert Chamberlin. Ruth Houser. Norma Smith, and Lillie Boyd. Where are they? Music is heard and someone exclaims, Why theres Mr. Kaufman, our old teacher, leading a swing band, and look at his drummer, Ruth Houserl The excitement overcomes our lovely actress Rita. and as she sways from her chair a white clad figure rushes forward. Can we believe our eyes-it is Norma Smith! Soon cheerful noises are heard outside the door and Robert Chamberlin and Lillie Boyd walk in. Lillie refuses to tell if she's married. However. that is a small matter compared with Pete. He is a big man-weight. 300 pounds. What a banquet and what a reunion!

YGU WILL KNOW THEM Maxine Miller She's somewhat shy but friendly, She's Winsome in her ways. I'll bet she'll reach her aim in life If her studiousness stays. Jackaline Mooiney It's this girl's aim to love the life That's colorful and free, At least that is the way it seems To always appear to me. Marvin Peery There's never tears when he's around. He's hardly ever sober, And if your thoughts run not his way He'll always win you over. Louise Ruder I like to think this girl dramatic And act in glamorous plays. Shed fill the eyes of big producers And win admirers' praise. Norma Smith Her ambition rules her every thought. I hope for her she succeeds: If she can this nation waits for her And her help is sincerely in need. John Wenzel Where this friend gets his sunny laugh And all that manly height, Is more than I can understand But I guess he's all right. Delores Wilcox Shall we call her hair auburn or just call it red. Shall we call her ways dreamy or Wise? For the life of me I can't Hgure it out And who can deserves a prize. Berneita Willams I-Iere's one girl I just can't Hnd The proper kind of expression: She's sometimes shy and sometimes gay But anyhow makes an impression.
