McCIuer Students Give Blood E i 1. wit i if W Students Face The Big Bloody Question To give blood or not to give blood, that is the question. To be purely selfish and keep my blood or to part with this precious blood and take the chance of passing out and missing Physics and Short- hand, and dear ol' Chemistry. Devout as I am to these three won- derful subjects, I can't desert my needy countrymen. And so it was, 170 students flooded into the M-5 gym to give blood because they felt the need to help others. Also because they received free cookies, coffee, milk, or orange juice. The Bloodmo- bile Program was sponsored by Senior Committee. McCluer stu- dents gave 14O pints of blood. lt was a big increase over the pre- vious year, enough to encourage the bloodmobile to return later in the year.
