2 fig nce upon a time . . . there was a school vilxaifffif called McCluer. Found inside the school were the usual things: freaks, jocks, teachers, desks, principals, books, and a few normal folk. A usual day started at 7:55 and ended at 2:35. An Ek 4 X unusual day also started at 7:55 and ended at 2:35. Each morn- ing the an- nouncements came over the in- tercom LOUD and LOUD Qit could be under- stood if you stood 10 miles away and spoke Yiddishj. The food in the school wasn't the best in the world: in fact there was a rumor about a pipeline running from the chemistry labs to the cafeteria. Going to the john Cusually after Iunchj was almost impossible. lf by chance you did make your way through the halls, because of the smoke you probably couldn't hit the pot if you tried. Speaking of the halls, it was said that a Swedish movie producer sent cam- era crews to do some filming at McCluer. After the school day was over the students enjoy an overcrowded, bumpy, bus ride home. Then they looked forward to an evening filled with cops, doctors, and bionic people and even managed to fit in a bit of homework during the commercials. 'f 4 .
