Tell Marcia she's going to have to fit this copy over again, it's seven picas off! Go get Keith, Dean, Kathy, Mike, and Steve! Tell them to re-print their pictures! But Karen, have you forgotten? Today is Friday, and tonight is the deadline! Yes I know, but did you look at the pictures we have now? They're all grey and scratched! Hey, Lori just typed up a page of Seniors without any mistakes! lf she's that good, make her copy editor next year! Where's Donna? She had to work tonight. Ask Roger how big the circles were for his pages, I think I just lost them! Does Dave have Clubs and Committees done? Are you kidding? He still has 29 pages more to finish! Tell Terry she can't leave! lt's only 3 am and she has to stay till 6 am! Ask Cindy to re-crop these pictures please. She did a scalp job on a few of the heads! Somebody better start blowing taps! Ms. Lacks will be here soon and when she sees how much more we have to do tonight, she'll bring out her shovel and plant us all-about six feet under! Although, the people are different, the dialogues haven't changed. Tim is still being teased about his hair. flt's said that he gets all of his journalistic talent from ity Ann whispers that she knows a secret about the music dept. but won't say a word unless it's off the record. Kathy and Tina tnicknamed the Siamese twinsb are doing each others work. Jeanne is begging Dave for Girls' Sports coverage. Karen is working on another investigative article. Dave is searching for more sports pictures. Keith is saying, You don't understand. I do all of my woek outside of class! Greg is asking why he has to do the articles nobody else wants. Jeanne is putting the finishing touches on another cartoon. Mike isn't in class. Clt's rumored that he's hiding in the Student Council roomy. Keith and Pam are dividing up the photo assignments. Two for you, one for me, two for you, one for me ....... Melinda is describing another one of her editorial cartoonideas,while Debbie mumbles, I quit after the next paper and goes back to her needlepoint. Ms. Lacks says l'd like to go on the record saying ...,. The atmosphere changes, though, the day the paper comes out. We wallpaper the room with SCOOPS and stand back and gaze in awe and exclaim that it's the best paper of all.
