LCDR PA UL DA VID MILLER COMMANDING OFFICER 's-ML., - M uv' .41---'J' Lieutenant Commander Miller attended the Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island receiving his commission in December 19 64. LCDR Miller's initial as- signment was in USS PAPAGO QATF-1605 as Operations Officer. Eighteen months later he relieved as Executive Officer USS SENECA QATF-913, completing two years in this as- signment prior to entering the Naval De- stroyer School at Newport, Rhode Island, LCDR Miller reported to McCLOY from a tour in the Bureau of Naval Personnel, LCDR Miller graduated from the Florida State University and holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Georgia, He is authorized to wear the Navy Commen- dation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commen- dation ribbon and the National Defense, Armed Forces Expeditionary, Vietnam Ser- vice and Vietnam Campaign Medals. LCDR Miller is married to the former M. Rebecca Norcross of Bushnell, Illinois who together with their son reside in Middletown, Rhode Island, HL Adu 9'
