These words very adequately describe the Class of January, l942, for, although it was one of the smallest classes ever to have graduated from McClatchy, it was by no means the least active. The class has had some major activity every semester since entering McClatchy in February, l939. ln addition to several after school dances, it has given The Rhythm Road, the Junior Prom, given together with the Low Junior class in l94O. ln l94l, the ghost story, 'XA Murder Has Been Arranged, Was presented as the Senior Pla O J y. n anuary 23, l942, the climax of three happy years Wa h ' s reac ed when the Senior Ball Was presented in the Memorial Auditorium. The class appreciates the help and cooperation of its sponsor, Mr. John A. Church, whose willing assistance has made the Cl f ass o January, l942, one of which McClatchy can be proud.
