CLASS OF FEBRUARY 1942 The class of February 1942 is the smallest in McClatchy, but its lack in numbers is compensated by its outstanding spirit. Throughout the years this class has spent here it has been ably guided by its sponsor, Mr. J. A. Church. Harvest Time, the Welcome dance tor incoming low sophomores and the first enterprise of the class was given on October l2, l939. CLASS OF JUNE 1942 The class ot June, 1942, on Valentines Day in l91lU, sponsored a very en- joyable Valentine Carnival, their reception tor the class oi February, l91l3. This event was followed by an even more successful Junior Prom, held at the Masonic Temple on December 6, l91lO. The theme oi the prom, l'Rhythm Road, was carried out with appropriate decorations. There is a great spirit ot cooperation among the members of the class, its otticers, and the class director, Miss Swanson.
