Accomplishments VOCATIONAL HOME ECONOMICS Since the publication of the thirty-first volume of The Dragon many prizes have been won in the various departments of the high school. JOURNALISM CERTIFICATE-First Class Honor Rating in the national contest conducted by the National Scholastic Press Association. CERTIFICATE-Tercentenary Memorial Award, the highest distinction allocat- ed, by the National Association of Student Editors, a division of National Education Association. RIBBON AND CASH AWARD--Eighth place in State Fair Exhibit. RIBBON1BlU8 ribbons awarded individuals for demonstrations at State Fair. VOCATIONAL AGRICULTURE BANNER-Third place banner in State Dairy Cattle Judging Contest awarded by Ohio Bankers Association 09341. BANNER-Third place banner in General Live Stock Judging in State Contest awarded by Ohio Bankers Association 119355. CASH AWARD-Awarded by the Horse and Mule Association of America to winning team in State Horse Judging Contest. RIBBON AND CASH AWARD-F0uTth place in Ohio State Fair Exhibit. GENERAL CERTIFICATE-Awarded to the Edward Lee McClain High School by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools placing it as a first class school. This distinction has been awarded continuously since 1904.
