We in the gym don our play clothes and become athletes. Amid dust, bruises and nearly broken he ads, we become softball players and foot- ball experts. Now we 've got to stand on our broken heads. The boys are yelling one-two, one-two. But for the girls the results are grace- ful and surprising. Relays, basketball and table tennis are fun. Serious physical education at McCants teaches us new skills and develops our co-ordination, grace and poise. Since football is the only intramural sport in which McCa.nts partici- pates, all our athletes waited eagerly for the first practice. When the day arrived, many good players were present to try out for the two teams. Only a few games were played but the Purple Team came out the winner.
