Through their patience and perse- verance, we, the senior class achieved our goals and proved we have learned the meaning of responsibility. In all of our years to come and though many miles may separate us, it will be with the utmost pleasure that we will look upon our experience at McCann. No memory would be complete if it didn't contain thoughts of our class advisors who were truly interested in our success. With the creation of this yearbook, came the realization that we would have to live up to the expectations of the preceding classes, and those of Mr. Donald Anderson. This yearbook is also dedicated to Mr. Donald Anderson, and we would like to thank him for his many years of knowledge and application. Our season was full of ups and downs. It was a tough one for us. We opened the year with high hopes for a winning season with a new coach in Joe I-layer. We worked hard through Double ses- sions in the hot August sun. We picked Brian, Frank, Bill and Jeff as our captains and were ready for Turners Falls. Like all of our games this year, we played tough Defense the first half, but that one big play in the second half took the wind right out of us. Though we ended the season on a losing note to Drury, we weren't losers. We had a shurout, 46-O, and we showed we could stop a team on the goal line. Our annual trip down to Springfield was a bid success, beating Putnam 26-7. We wish the team great success in '87 and say congratula- tions to Brian Tatro and John Horn, First Team All-Kosior League defense and offense respec- tively.
