Mrs. Caprari Mrs. Holmes The Class of 1986 proudly dedicates the '86 ARTISAN to Mrs. Holmes and Mrs. Caprari, our class advisors. They have been unselfish in the time and effort they have given to all of the projects our class has undertaken. We are graduating as one of the most successful fund-raising classes in McCann's history, and this is mainly due to their insistence that we all do our part in these projects. We will always remember their help in putting on the Prom in our Junior year and the fun and good times we had in making it such an awesome event. CLA SS HIS TOR Y To Mrs. Caprari and Mrs. Holmes we dedicate these lines, To let them know they helped us in our hearts and minds. Through the years we've cherished each friend, And to our knowledge this friendship will never end. So tonight we'll laugh about all the memories we've shared, Knowing how much our friends, parents, and teachers have cared. We came as scared freshmen to a new school, Trying to remember each and every new rule. Mr. Cardillo was our principal for only a year, Then it was class officers election to fear. Steve Ferrara was the Pres we selected, Bob Rumbolt was the Veep we elected. Lisa Carrier was the Secretary we voted for, While Missi Wojtaszek, Treasurer, made sure we didn't go poor. 897 beach towels is what we sold, With 2000 bucks profit for us to hold. The year quickly passed to the month of June, Studying hard because finals were coming soon. In September we returned to find a new boss, Mr. Avery was here, Mr. Cardillo we lost. We came not so scared or frightened as before, Instead we put up our chins and walked through the door. Steve was still Pres, but a girl took Bob's place, Wendy Bennett was determined to be our ace. Bill Davis became our Secretary for the year, With Mark Tassone as Treasurer, Bankruptcy we didn't fear. Selling candles, cheese, and sausage gave us S3000 in the bank, And to the 83 people who participated, we thank. We ordered our rings in the winter of '84, They all had a new hornet from last year, that's for sure. We came as juniors back to school, Now half way through high school we thought we were cool Three of the officers stayed the same, As Secretary Coleen Caprari came. At the crazy dance we all danced hard, King Jeff Calvi, Queen Pam Maynard. We had a Jean Dance November of '84, We went crazy, mental, and flew over the floor. Our fundraiser this year was the Gift Boutique, With a S1000 profit, that was quite unique. In May the Senior class of '85 put on field day, We won 1st place as Juniors, and took it all the way. The 1896 House was full of cheers, The theme of the Prom was Tender Years . In Senior year no officers had changed, But all our classes were rearranged. We had another crazy dance to add some fun, A DJ. we chose, Steve Binder, was the one. A Lip Sync contest that the school had, Everyone got their chance to go mad. A, Every year we sold flowers on Valentines Day, To friends, lovers, and people who didn't know, what to say. A podium we chose as a class gift, With a microphone that had an automatic lift. Now all the voices you shall be able to hear, i At pep rallies, and gatherings throughout the year So here we sit tonight with confused thoughts running through our head, Knowing everything we wanted to say, was never said. But we know we have the spirit to carry through To fulfill life's dreams, as people do. This is the night on which we will all say good- bye. There will be laughter, and yet tears to cry. We'd like to bet anyone, just for the kicks, That they couldn't have as much spirit as the MCCANN CLASS OF 1986!!
