In our four years at McCann we have added to and refined our under- standing of carpentry, and we have ' learned a great deal about other W. aspects of maintenance, such as A building construction, plumbing, and preventive maintenance. Never- theless, in our Freshman year it seemed that the only thing we learned was how to sand...and sand...and sand. In our Sopho- more year, along with being en- trusted with more responsible jobs, we made an important dis- covery--the spray booth had a fan that would get rid of smoke! ln our Junior vear some of us helped to install the lowered ceilinos in some of the rooms the school Mr Upton left to to another school and he was re placed bv Mr Herzig This was the wear of parties either under the bleechers when we were working on them or at someone s home Clenn Hebert went to one of these parties and ended up paying for a window that Dean broke Our Senior year brought out one charac teristic in our group we seemed to be accident prone Rocco was in a serious accident on Curran Highway and was in the hospital for several weeks This happened only three days after Chuck Barry flipped his car over During our four years we have demonstrated the skills we were taught by helping many area organizations. We have made voting booths for Adams, have refinished benches for an area church, and have nade signs for the Ambulance and United Fund drives. Many of the photos in the Transcript have shown us working on these jobs. A W 1 n 0 ol W . V 1' 1 R? u. I. . .,f I 1 ' WUI-9 I-A 'aan lst ROW: T. LaCross, M. LeClair, D. Lemieux, J. Carli, K.
