Kennedy MACHINE TECHNOLOGY The Machine Technology Program offers training in the use of basic hand tools and the operation of precision machines, such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and milling machines, including modern computer tape controlled machines. Students also make their own tools for their future use. Pero FOOD SERVICE The Food Service Program starts at the 9th grade level. In this program students gain skills for employ- ment in the food trades. They learn to prepare meals for both small groups and large groups, serving tech- niques, and pastry making. The McCann Tea Room 97 is open to the public two days each week. Williams METAL FABRICATION The Metal Fabrication Program offers training in layout, form and assembly of sheet metal parts, struc- t1u'al fabrications and assemblies. Students are taught how to set up and operate metal fabrication machin- ery, such as brakes, shears, presses, punches, and forming machines. The course provides skill in all phases of electric, oxyacetylene, mig welding and heliarc welding, using modern industrial equipment under industrial conditions. When the student graduates from the Metal Fabri- cation Program, he will be able to enter occupations such as Sheet Metal, Fabrication Layout, various types of welding such as Brazing, Gas Welding, Stick Elect- rode Welding, Micro-wire and Tig-Welding.
