Rolland, L. janovsky BUSINESS DATA PROCESSING One of the busiest departments in the school, Busi- ness Data Processing begins at the 9th grade level. Besides getting training in the use of tvpewriters, electronic calculators, accounting machines, and duplicating equipment, students are also taught ac- counting, bookkeeping, programming systems and the operation of mechanical and electronic machines, such as card sorters, key punchers, and computers. All of the equipment is modem and similar to the type found in businesses. Many of the students leave school to work in area businesses under the Co-operative Work Program.
