FOOD SERVICE This course prepares its students lor a career in any ol' the several phases ol' food preparation and handling. The major areas of concentration in- clude menu planning, food manage- ment. storage. food chemistry. quan- tity preparation and baking. hygiene and sanitation, safety and terminology. Mrs. Hatton's related classroom in- struction is applied in the kitchen and bakery under the direction of Mr. Can tone. Students are also exposed to cafeteria work under the guidance of Mrs. Ostrander. the school dietitian. The Tea Room is open to the public every Tuesday and Friday.
