MJ eff' At Rallies, Slogans, Streamers Vitalize 'Beat Travis' Weelz One of the most looked-forward-to times of our entire school year is the Week which precedes the Travis game. This year the Week was filled With funny costumes, slogans, streamers, and spur-of- the-moment pep rallies which sprang up between the organized pep rallies. School spirit was at its height. The final day was started when the cheerleaders presented the victory bell at the tremendous Friday-morning rally and climaxed when the Knights brought the bell home to McCallum for another year late that night. Left: The Knight football team attends an after-school pep rally during a break from practice. Below: Terry Morrow shows no badge while Tommy Kasper Wets his whistle and Craig Hayden peers from behind. Iolm Paul also is dressed like so many other McCallumites for the novel week of the Travis game. There was a near-capacity Crowd gathered at House Park for the Rebel-Knight tilt. McCallum students, as v1s1tors, were seated at the south end of the stadium.
