Mach We Emile TIE DAY In the past annual, the underclassmen pictures have shown a marked contrast to the senior class pictures be- cause the underclassmen were dressed more informally. This year Tie Day was introduced and as each grade was notified of their particular day for pictures, the boys with white shirts and ties on in the halls were marked as being in u certain grade. The day for their picture became, therefore, a day in honor of that grade. 5 . f W f f'f . is ' ,, g . . CAbovel Danny Hull and Jerry Winn, seniors, demonstrate the wrong way to dress for tie day as Jerry ties a tie on Danny's plaid sport shirt. CBelowJ Tracy Roberts ties a snappy windsor for Rolf McCoy in the correct white shirt for his class picture.

Life With Father grew difficult, at times, as the hour grew late, but the time was well spent at the various dances that were held in the McCallum cafetorium. Right: Red Jackets and Blue Brigaders mingled. Barbara Rouse and Jim Gattis share the fun of dancing on the excellent dance floor. Left: At the Jr. High Pep-Squad dance a Paul Jones helps to start the social ball rolling, Above: Among the couples on the floor are Wilma Lee Hamil- ton and Tommy Fears. Left: Students and teacher-chaperones alike attended the dance in abundance.
