out the year with 11 members Sharlene Overmire Joined us during the yeai and Bill Xleorn left leaving the same number of students During our seventh year we organ17ed our first club The Merry Music Makers ' was chosen to be the name of our org mization When we ady anced to eighth grade we thought we had reached the top We entered with 11 members and left with the same amount Since we were a privileged class we had the honor of being in the assembly during our eighth year We had high school teachers during this period It was rather degrading to go from our lugh position in Junior high to a green fresh man We became an official member of high school through initiation During tlus year Richard Grewell from Fernald Joined us We were now even six boys a.nd six girls The class officers in our freshman year were piesident Eldon Swenson vice president Waruta Olson secretary Steve Hanson and treasurer Mary Sampson Our sponsor was Bill Vest We were glad to lose the title of gi een freshmen During our sophomore year Richard Grewell left us Once more we were outntunbered by the girls a.nd were bo stay this way for the rest of our high school years Class officers were as follows president David DUBO1 vice president Wanita Olson treasurer Eldon Swenson and secretary Mary Sampson Our sponsor w as Gus Silzer At last we were upperelassmen Class officers were as follows president Eldon Swenson vice president Mary Sampson secretary Mary Pearson a.nd treasurer Wamta Olson Our banquet w as held in the school cafeteria It was very beautifully decorated and eyeryone really enjoyed it We presented the class play Room for the Groom It w a big success Our class sponsor for our Junior year w as Mrs Waters At last we had ieached the ultimate goal We were sophisticated seniors It w as indeed an honoi to sit in the east row of seats Our class sponsor was Mr Huisman a.nd class officers were as follows president Gwen Lehman vice president Sandra Gossman secretary Mary Sampson and treasurer Daxid DuBois We presented the play Lights Out 1 my steiy comedy enjoyed by everyone Another important event was the Jumor senioi banquet and we would like to thank the Jtuaior class for it Then the highlight of our senior year came our trip to Chicago We had a very mee time and really hated to leave Those xho haye been with us all 12 years are as follows David DuBois Larry Ellingson
