N RIBUTE T0: Mr. John S. Strang. a man who hy his fine Christian life has won for himself a permanent place in the hearts of the class of l957. Mr. Strang has been more than a Coach and teacher, and eavh hoy has felt that in him there is an ever-present readiness to hear, aid, and help in time of trouhle. A junior school Bible teacher, Mr. Strang also coaches the varsitv tennis team. which. under his leadership, won the South- ern Prep Championship. Although his work in teaehing and ath- letics has lmeen a vital part in lVlr. Strang,s career, his most im- portant contributions have heen in the Christian program of the school. As faculty advisor to the YMCA, Mr. Strang has not only assisted in the nightly prayer meetings and Sunday vespers hut has also planned and organized the various retreats and con- ferences held during the year.
