Doctor Woods, a graduate of South- western University, has done post- graduate work at the Union Theolog- ical Seminary. He is well known for his numerous books and pamphlets on religious subjects, having written the textbook which is used by his Bible classes. Dr. Woods has forty- seven years of teaching experience, twenty-one ot them at McCallie. He is associate headmaster at McCallie, and head of the Bible Department. He is respected and admired by all who know him, not only for his knowledge and good judgment, but also for his ready wit. .A

DR. IAMES PARK MCCALLIE A.B.. A.M.. Ph.D., LL.D. Doctor, a graduate of the University of Vir- ginia, has received degrees from Davidson College and King College. His earnest and untiring work in the Southern Presby- terian Church has been outstanding, and Doctor has done much to increase the Christian atmosphere of the school, He received a Fellowship in Astronomy from the Leander McCormick University and has led many students to an interest in astronomy. Doctor is an outstanding teacher, and all boys look forward to his interesting classes. We at McCallie feel free to go to Doctor at any time for advice or aid. DR. SPENCER IARNAGIN MCCALLIE A.B., A.M., PED.D., r.1r'r.D., 1.L.D. Professor is a graduate of Southwestern Pres- byterian University, and has done post-grad- uate work at Cornell University and the University of Chicago. He also has degrees from Davidson College, Erskine College and the University of Chattanooga. A leader in Chattanooga civic affairs, Professor is a mem- ber of the College Entrance Board. He is endeared to us by his friendly nature and real interest in all the boys. ln times like these we all turn to Professor for guidance as to which branch of service to enter. McCallie's high position among Southern schools is due in great part to Professors untiring effort.
